Unplayable

My 8 year old daughter is a great and accomplished fan of the game as played on her 2nd gen iPod.

But when I installed this version on her 1.83 GHz iMac (2 GB RAM, Mac OS X 10.6.8), we discovered that the game is essentially unplayable: in both windowed and full screen mode, with and without the soundtrack. Game action is *painfully* slow and unresponsive. This computer is certainly within the specs listed in the App Store.

I regret that I didnt read more deeply in the reviews, as its evident that many are having the same problems.
